Before being a brand, SILLAGE was a way of feeling the world. Some people perceive what others merely brush past; the founder is one of them. Early on, she kept scents in memory long after everything else had faded: a single smell could reopen a moment, bring back a face, revive an emotion intact.
She was sometimes told she felt “too much”. It took her time to understand that this sensibility was not an excess to correct, but a language to listen to. Where others saw fragility, she found a compass. From this vision SILLAGE was born: not one more house, but a promise — to give beyond the visible, and to address each person, personally.
How it began. It all started with a journey — the one Lisèle made to reunite with her parents. That day, not a single seat left on the flights to Fort-de-France: the airport saturated, the crowd pressing in from all sides. Amid the multitude, it was her senses that guided her. From that passage, as inward as it was physical, the idea of SILLAGE was born — the certainty that the senses tell what matters most, and that it is in the invisible that everything begins.
